Good one Paul

That's really good, Dixie. I like the composition and colours...and what a tree!

Very nice work, Paul - great tree and love the stones.

This is great Paul, I really like

Thank you Heather, Lew, Anne and Hilary for you kind comments. It was thee tree that originally caught my eye Lew, made some adjustments in colours etc but I’m pleased with the end product.

This is brilliant, Paul. I followed it on the Forum and you can be very proud about the result. Beautiful scenery and bright colours. Great!

It's turned out really well Paul, love the lines in the field leading the eye into the painting 👍😀

Fabulous Paul! Love the tree, what a characterful trunk and the stone wall is really good, especially the different shades of stone and Moss. A wonderful country scene.

Beautifully done Paul, it turned out well!

Thank you all for your very kind comments they are much appreciated.

Great job here Paul, detailed in places but not overworked. A rather interesting composition also.

Lovely painting Paul, nice tree.

Really like this Paul, well done!

A very beautiful tree, Paul

Its alway so nice to receive positive comments from you all many thanks. Trees are a bit like people they are similar but all very different and age changes them so much.

Nice work, like the tree trunk details slot.

The textures and form of that tree are wonderful. You’ve definitely achieved that clean, clear watercolour.

Watercolour 9 1/2” x 12 1/2” I did this as a work in progress. I wanted to keep the colours as translucent as possible. Used a free photo as a reference and base , adapted it to what I wanted , changed colours quit a lot.
