Thank you Paul.its usually the case that a re paint never comes up to expectations 😂 Thank you Heather. I’m certainly addicted to the subject at the moment Thank you Romila. I agree with you about the drama. It was ! Thank you Stephen. I haven’t used oils for over a year and ,like any other art form , you need to practice. Thank you Lynda . I’m learning to make less mess too 😂 Thank you Carole. Looking at the scene from all Nile’s brough new drama Thank you Anne. I haven’t used oils the same weakness in Watercolour as here. I really struggle to mix the colours I want. I can see tonal values but cluelessness with actual colour. Thank you Cecilia. Ive really enjoyed myself

I am re painting some of the sunflower paintings because I’ve read that painting over an old oil painting with gesso to use again, isn’t to be advised. I did notice some of the gesso lifting on one of them. I like the subject enough to want to keep the work without the fear of the paint flaking off.
