Adding drama to previous Daffs

Comments

Ooow. I like this a lot better Diana. Much more drama and the daffy have come alive.

Tonal value equals impact! That’s a big improvement Diana

Super again!

Thank you Linda I’m happier with it. Yes Alan tonal contact. The very thing I’m always harping on about. Strange how I overlooked it in oils. Thank you Much appreciated Heather.

Beautiful painting Diana.

Those critical eyes re the light! But yes, I like the drama too.

You have made these Daffodils come to life Diana with your energetic brush marks.

And a very effective and vibrant use of the palette knife indeed! Beautifully painted, Diana!

Thank you for your interest in this painting. I actually scraped it off today because of over fiddling but it’s enjoyable exploring the medium

Thanks very much to Alan and Linda for your suggestions. I’m happier with it now despite the light being wrong within the glass
