Absolutely breathtaking, Diana!

You make the most mundane scenes and objects look brilliant Diana. Top class work.

Very impressive piece Diana.

My goodness Diana.....this is absolutely fabulous, especially that circle of light/reflection on the tiles.

Absolutely top drawer again, Diana! Love this!

Thanks Timothy . I’m delighted you think so Thank you Detlev. I’m hopeless at landscapes so can leave those to you. I love yours. Hello Jim. I must see beauty in the mundane. Hello Fiona and thank you . I was lucky to notice those shadows . I took loads of photos so maybe I can try it from another angle too. Thank you Maureen. I appreciate your feedback Thank you Rebecca. I think this combination of colours is very appealing. Hello Alan and thanks again for your generous feedback. Much appreciated Thank you Thalia. The light was beautifully dramatic.

Brilliant, Diana, -just love it.

Diana, you really are the master of pots and pans lol, you must spend a lot of time in your kitchen, me I can't wait to get out of it, as usual its a brilliantly painted scene !!!

Thank you Linda. I spend a lot more time painting them than cooking with them 😄😄

Very exact.. Nice work

Fabulous Diana, impressive and mesmerizing work.

and an excellent gallery too

Thank you Willie. I’m delighted you like it. Thank you Peter and Margaret. I love looking at people’s beautiful landscapes but I seem to be drawn to more unusual objects .. probably because I find landscapes and seascapes difficult! Thank you Alan and Cesare. I have enjoyed developing a favourite palette and am getting there with a style too. I do enjoy painting detail and also lovely loose washes so a combination is ideal. Thank you again Margaret and Russell. I really appreciate your support. Thank you Pat. Looking at my gallery, it’s amazing just how many paintings I’ve actually posted. Wonder what to do today 😁😁

Beautifully rendered chrome and steel Diana, nobody does it like you, fantastic! Love the sharp reflection on the wall.

Another stunning painting, Diana, in those lovely muted colours of yours. (How long did this take you?)

Hello Jenny and another big thank you. I wonder if my love of somber colours reflections my personality 😄😄. I worked on it on and off over three days so probably about 10 hours. I work in very short bursts of about 5 to 10 minuets with a mini break. It’s almost as if I’m afraid that I’ll ruin it by continuing longer. Once I start with the wet and larger washes, I have to commit to it for however long it takes.

No mistaking that your pans are stainless steel Diana superbly painted.

Looks so familiar. SUPER work!

I didn't mean to imply that your colours are sombre, Diana, your paintings always have a warmth to them and could never be sombre with all that shine and reflected light! Interesting to hear how you work in short bursts, I often do the same and find the break often allows you to come back to it with a fresh eye. I also find it hard to get going if I plan time to paint and usually do my best work when I just pick up a brush in passing, intending to do a little, but then getting engrossed in it. (Probably explains why I was never satisfied with anything I did at art class, it always seemed a bit forced.)

Thank you Val. Yes the non shiny one is aluminium!! Thank you Skylar. It really boosts my confidence to get feedback like that. Jenny, I know what you mean about forced work. I actually do love somber music and colours.
