Another of my sketch-a-day projects in my sketchbook.

And another well developed and detailed sketch it is too Alan.

Lovely - as usual. That splash of watercolour focuses the eye.

Like the detail

That splash of watercolour works a treat!

Wonderful Alan and your article, Drawing architecture in TA, very much.

I knew who THAT was as soon as I saw it on the home page - Alan's as recognizable as Rembrandt; in fairness, Rembrandt didn't have access to Rotring Ticky or Tombow brush pens - so any jealousy from that quarter would be inappropriate.

Super picture Alan.

Lovely work Alan, that splash of watercolour as you call it, gives some body to the work

Instantly recognisable as yours Alan, and another gem.

Another great drawing Alan

What a wonderful sketch Alan. Love the composition, string lines and colour splash.

Beautiful work Alan, great combination of ink and wash.

A great sketch and use of colour.

Impressive work, Alan. I also like the look of the texture of your paper

Wonderful ink work Alan and you mark making is super……I agree, the introduction of colour certainly beefs it up!

Really like the Blue and Orange Reds on this- so eye catching Alan.

Love this!

Great project Alan - the details are superb and demonstrate your confidence as a painter.

Can see you sitting right there drawing it! Great!

Well drawn Alan and love the spicy touch of colour

Not sure how you got that angle, Alan. I. Used to work around the corner at the Science museum, many years ago, so my memory is always looking up at the doors as I visited daily for lunch. Lovel sketch though.

Here comes another beauty Alan!

Thanks guys, always appreciate your comments. Linda… depends which entrance, I’ve used my own photo from ten years ago, pretty much as I’ve drawn it here! Put we can’t upload a photo…

Great sketch, love it.

One of the entrances to the V&A. Stillman & Birn sketchbook with Rotring Ticky and Tombow brush pen. These are a great combination for me, with a splash of watercolour to add that bit of spice!
