This is fantastic Alan. So difficult to simplify a complex scene. Have been back from Spain a couple of weeks but can’t wait to get back out there. It was gorgeous weather in January and February, ideal for painting Plein air. Not a chance of doing that here as it’s so cold and windy. Make the most of it Alan. ,

Fabulous view from the slipway amongst all the colourful boats, it makes a great composition, if not a bit complicated at first sight! Will make a possible oil painting at some stage. That’s the historic Denia Castle in the distance. Indian Ink with a splash of watercolour on A4 Strathmore Tan paper.
