The warmth of the sky contrasts nicely with the coldness of the snow, as does the treatment of the smaller trees.

A continuation of the farm track that I painted in last weeks post, just a few hundred metres further along. I’m always inspired by the shape and structure of old trees, and these two closely grouped together immediately caught my attention. The final one in my recent series of local snow scenes - thank you for all your positive comments throughout! Jackson’s Belle-Arti board, 40 x 50cm.
