Outstanding and expressive Alan, good practice too.

That's some scribble Alan!

Far from meaningless Alan - great skill demonstrated here.

Brilliant scribbles :). Great scene Alan so fresh.

Not meaningless at all! Very intricate and detailed drawing which must have been quite a challenge to pull off just using a rigger - so very well done.

The master of the rigger amongst other things love it Alan

Excellent work Alan.

Lovely scribbles Alan, I wish my scribbles were as good as yours,

Wonderful Alan! I quite agree, preparatory pencil work often spoils painting. But there again painting often spoils a perfectly good drawing, which is usually my dilemma.

Oh I wish my scribbles would look like this Alan....magnificent!

Thanks everyone for your comments, by meaningless I suppose that I mean it has limited interest and will end up on a pile of other work destined for recycling eventually.

Very clever - l love the expressive drawing .

Such a strong composition Alan. Your sense of perspective is amazing!

Another meaningless quick scribble, just to keep me active last week whilst taking a break from the three oils that I am working on. All good exercise in perspective of course, straight in with a loaded rigger, no pencil prep work to spoil the spontaneity and urgency.
