The red brick against the blue-ish paper, and the minimalist sort of style, is just superb.

Fantastic Alan, really stood out, I love it.

I really like this style Alan.

Superb Alan definitely a case of less is more the your choice of pallet is excellent for this particular painting.

Meant to read “ Super!”

This is super, Alan. A real eye catcher.

This is very striking against the blue paper Alan, a lovely drawing with the minimum of colouring, works so well.

Love your line and wash sketches, Alan - and this looks good on the tinted paper.

Class work as ever Alan. Great contrasts using tinted paper and chalk.

A really stunning piece, Alan. Love the limited palette, which works beautifully with the toned ground. As usual, your composition, linework and mark-making are excellent.

Absolutely hits the spot. Terrific.

Excellent and the tinted paper is so effective too!

Oh very lush and colours and composition 🙂

The loosely done trees and foreground are perfect against the buildings.

Seems new for you and I think it is very eye-catching - like the three colours and the style, Alan

Like the contrast between the ink drawing and the warm tones of the Cathedral.

The colours and mark making are really eye catching

Fabulous artwork Alan, I like the pale grey paper it shows your work beautifully.

I really like this and the highlights work so well.

Love the addition of minimal colour. Such a graceful, elegant painting Alan.
