Love those rich, golden hues Alan and your amazing sky with those subtle, autumnal tones.

Beautiful Autumnal scene, Alan.

Another good one Alan, I like your lively foreground brush strokes.

Gorgeous autumn colours, Alan - and love the purple on the horizon and the pinks in the sky.

This one jumped out at me, so distinctive. Love it.

Gorgeous colours, we have nothing in the way of autumn colours here 🙁

Love the expressive brush strokes in this one Alan - full of life! The view from your window - lucky you!!!

This is great, Alan. Beautiful strong autumn colours.

Great sky, Alan, and love the distance you've created!

Everything has been said ! Super.

Another autumnal beauty Alan. Like the texture and impression that your foreground washes have made to the painting.

That gorgeous palette again Alan. And you say you're lacking in inspiration!

Great comments so a huge thank you, always appreciated.

Your brushwork and colour are perfect Alan.

40 x 50cm oil on board. A view from my window, with the addition of autumnal colours. This was painted as the floods from the burst banks of the River Trent had subsided, leaving large areas of flooded fields. I’ve left some foreground grasses as turpsy washes, they were saturated and reflecting the light, so I’ve tried to keep them as transparent as possible.
