It's that palette again Alan. instantly recognisable and part of another great picture. Looks simple but is the result of years of effort I suspect.

Just love this one, beautiful colours, what a marvellous view you have too.

I love this, Alan. Such imaginative marks and colours.

Lovely work Alan, it's a super view you have there.

That's a dazzlingly attractive effect Alan. Lovely work.

Stunning view Alan, love this one.

Beautiful Alan one of my favourites for sure

Brilliantly smashing Alan

Amazing painting, Alan, superb view and smashing colours. Great work, Alan.

Super rich colour Alan, and Great Style. Beautifully placed dabs of colour.

There wasn't a second's doubt about who painted THIS!

Goodness me... that is the quickest dozen comments that I have ever achieved so thank you all so much. There are plenty to come in this series, I'm just working on No 8 but I don't clog up the gallery and only post selected pieces as and when, generally once a week. Just noticed that Dawn has added it to the Home Page Gallery which I also appreciate.

I can feel the chill, Alan, superb rendition in leaving the eye to savour the scene.

Alan, you know that word that I always say under my breath whenever I see one of your paintings? I just said it again! Lol And I cannot put into words how absolutely wonderful, brilliant, stunning and magnificent this is. Most certainly one of your best to date, I’m looking forward to experiencing the views from your windows.

Stunningly beautiful, with an unearthly glow,Alan.....I think that this one is my favourite of all your paintings, as amazing as they all are!

Brilliant again Alan such a developed sense of colour

Beautiful painting Alan!!

Thanks Louise for your kind comment.

Gorgeous colour and textures Alan, another beautiful painting.

A beautiful painting, Alan.

The more of your work I see, the more it reminds me of Turner's style which I admire too. What a lovely view you have! My vista is my neighbour barbecuing meat 3 times a week in his garden.

Oil on MDF 20 x 20in. I've started a series with the above title and mainly studio based although some have been painted en-plein-air. This is the vista from one of my windows, nice and handy subject matter on my doorstep. The Carp pool is ideally situated and creates a great opportunity for reflections.
