Goodness me... that is the quickest dozen comments that I have ever achieved so thank you all so much. The more of your work I see, the more it reminds me of Turner's style which I admire too. What a lovely view you have! My vista is my neighbour barbecuing meat 3 times a week in his garden.

Oil on MDF 20 x 20in. I've started a series with the above title and mainly studio based although some have been painted en-plein-air. This is the vista from one of my windows, nice and handy subject matter on my doorstep. The Carp pool is ideally situated and creates a great opportunity for reflections.
