Ohh Alan- I do like this!

This has a feel of a Whistler. Interesting palette and atmospheric. Good one Alan

First of all Alan this is a fabulous painting. And where as a very young child I would marvel at the trams and people going along the promenade and onto that pier. My Grandmother had a hairdressing shop opposite. This has brought back early memories for me so thankyou. I wish you luck in the TALP this would have been my winner a little biased of course.

It must have been a difficult decision to pull it out, it's a wonderful painting with great atmosphere Alan.

Beautiful, love the colours 😍

Yikes! Thanks guys for your support… I’m having second thoughts now! It’s not too late to put this one back in, and take one out… I’ve got until 5pm tonight before deadline!

Yes do it!!!

Who am I to question your judgement but I can't understand why you didn't enter this Alan, unless of course the 'other one' is even better!

It's a dilemma, we can't see your other entries Alan, so they might be the right ones.

I’ve entered three in total! This year that is the maximum. Previous years there was no limit! Can’t understand why a limit, after all, you are paying so they’re losing revenue! I’ve pretty much decided to enter this one, thanks everyone!

Alan it’s a superb piece, definitely has atmosphere and it’s full of feelings, do seriously consider putting it back in your TALP selection .

Love this colour palette Alan. Beautiful.

Great picture , the colours are superb.

That is superb, Alan. Please, please submit it!!!

Know it well and this is a a very good painting full of atmosphere.

It is a lovely painting!

Fine work as ever Alan. That sky is brilliant.

Gorgeous sky, love the palette!

I do like your colour palette, and the variation in the shapes of the clouds - surely a winner.

I love this painting. I wonder whether you would come back to it to make some changes. It happens to me, I wonder whether you come back to your work to make changes.

I like the originality of this and the colours. It reminds me of Fred Cumings.

Oil on a cradled panel 12 x 30in, pretty much all from imagination… looking for something a bit more atmospheric looking than my normal style. I was going to submit this one into this years TALP, but have pulled it and replaced it with an industrial scene instead!
