Really interesting Alan

I’m really interested in following this style and interpretation Alan.

I like this style also, beautifully done Alan.

Great representation Alan. Fine sketch work and palette.

This is so majestically breathtakingAlan. It captures the time, essence and atmosphere, superbly.

Lovely work. Great stuff 🙂

A stunning piece, Alan. You've captured the majestic scale of the place, and the interaction between the warm and cool hues is so very effective and attractive.

Fascinating take on the turner version Alan.

I’m currently working on a feature for TA based around JMW Turner’s watercolour sketch books - I’ll be discussing how he approached his plein air watercolours, delving into his working methods, paints/palette and his tinted papers etc. I’ll be working from a selection of his sketches that particularly inspire me - these aren’t intended as accurate depictions/copies in any way, but my take on the subject. I’ll also be demonstrating in WIP form some of my own local landscapes inspired by the style of Turner.
