Many thanks all for such positive and encouraging comments. Artist in residence sounds impressive Marjorie, not quite in that bracket, but it never ceases to amuse me that people are so unobservant when you try to draw in a crowd. To be fair they were looking at the exhibits not me!

This has such a sense of place, and adding tints to the pots and plants is so very effective to anchor the painting. Beautiful work!
