Lovely work, Tessa.

It's lovely, super.

Love this one Tessa particularly how you've defined the foreground plants.

This is a beauty. Love the wild thistles against the calm of the field. Excellent painting of difficult (for some) to-do thistles.

Captured very well Tessa a delightful composition

Summer at its very best Tessa. Love this little gem of a painting.

Lovely composition and harmonious palette Tessa.

I agree, beautiful little painting

Excellent colours, nicely done.

Thank you all very much for your positive and very welcome comments! 🙏

This is superb Tessa and beautifully painted.

An excellent hours work Tessa it says summer.

Simple composition that works well here…I like the colour palette as well…

Thank you all. Your encouragement drives me on!

I like this! The colours, texture, composition all work well.

Beautifully painted Tessa.

Terrific painting Tessa. I especially like the treatment of the bottom left foreground rough grass and thistles. Beautiful harmony.

A charming piece of work

Fabulous Tessa - love the texture in your paint.

Another quick 7x5” oil of the local landscape and colours which are lovely at the moment. There are a lot of thistles and butterflies at the field edges. His took an hour or so.
