Delightful

Delightful Val, very furry friends indeed. No never forgotten.

We never forget our lost pals do we. It’s great that we can bring their likeness alive with art, from a memory and photo. They look very happy dogs. Is the lighter one a Merle Val?

A pair of beauties Val. Super work for coloured pencils.

A lovely reminder.

A delightful drawing and a great keepsake.

Your comments are such a boost, many thanks Carole, Chris, John, Fiona, Carole, Lewis and Lynda.

Fiona, yes both are blue merles but Blue, the one in front, had a lot of black and much less grey. ( He was the son of a champion sheepdog who ' played ' for Scotland 😀 ) Blue merles are a particular family favourite, four of our six collies were merles.

I remember our rough collie from when I was a lass…..she was my best friend. Unlike our lab, who knocked me down the stairs at every opportunity, not on purpose, I hope! They are a lovely breed, gentle, steady and loyal. Thanks Val.

Excellent work Val , so nice to have this to remember them by .

Thanks Paul.
