I think this is absolutely lovely! How I wish I had the skills to even attempt something like this.

Excellent painting, Val, lovely harmonious colours, great lost and found edges. I think you have the looseness just right, any more and you would lose the impact of the flower.

I think that you are the mistress of the close up view as you do these paintings so well. To hell with being loose if it isn't you - I think it is a difficult goal if you have to try to hard to paint like that. Paint like 'you' as how you see things is wonderful and produces beautiful paintings like this one. Also love the colours you have used - quite delicious!

Great painting Val. I just cannot use watercolour don't feel that I am in control. So this work amazes me to see the precision you have been able to use. Petals look so delicate
