Well reworked Marjorie… I do remember it from a while ago. You’ve certainly captured the ambiance of this winter landscape. Just one little thing I’m not quite sure about, I would have removed that RH tree/sapling, which would open up the pathway into the painting that bit more! But you know best…

I must have been sans computer still at this point, or would certainly have commented; it's brilliant; I see Alan's point about the tree on the right, but as one who can't see a space without popping something into it, I'd probably have done the same (which may not be a recommendation...). That patch of lemony light in the foreground, mirrored throughout the painting in more muted tones, is what makes this work so well.
