Great Carole. Your texture research gets better and better.

A great outpouring of colour Carole.

Beautiful Carole!

Beautiful, Carole, lovely colours and textures.

Carole you are amazing this is beautiful

Thanks all, you have encouraged me no end :)

Great one Carole - did you use granulation fluid? When I started in the use of inks in a style not so far removed from yours I did quite a bit of research via Youtube etc and could find nothing by anyone along these lines. Unless you know better I think we must be two f a kind. Makes you feel kinda smug don'it !

Fantastic colours Carole

As allways fantastic

Very effective Carole smashing colours and flow, nice one.

Thank you very much. Michael there's one or two or more artists use this technique, Ann Blockley, Jane Betteridge are the two I like best. Look them up as they have DVDs too.

Lovely semi abstract painting Carole. The colour of these poppies is gorgeous.

Thanks Carole - yes I am aware of the work of AB and JB, both great artists, but they rarely work in the abstract field their nearest works being more of a semi-abstract nature. Certainly their techniques do differ from those I adopt although I have no doubt there is some cross-over along the way.

Lovely use of colour and texture.

I love this type of effect in watercolour it's so beautiful when it comes off

Wonderful painting Carole, as already said, lovely colours and textures

Thank you Patricia, Dermot and David :)

A wonderfully fresh abstract Carole!

Carole! What more can I say to all that has been said already. Breath of fresh air?

Striking colour. The negative shape pop the flowers out. Beautiful gallery of work Carole.

Watercolour spot of acrylic ink

About the Artist
Carole Swingler

Self- taught artist, I have dabbled in watercolours for many years on and off. My first love is flower painting in watercolour. Now trying many different media including acrylic inks, gouache, all types of pencils to try loose-ish semi abstract images.
