I hate hydrangeas, but its a lovely painting.

Thanks Peter, Sue, Petra and Linda, much appreciated. I might frame it now!

An absolute beauty Carole

Stunning work Carole, I do like your style of painting. I hope it will be framed, beautiful painting.

That extra leaf balances it perfectly Carole. Absolutely stunning, I'm green with envy :)

Michael, Glennis Rebecca and Val, thanks very much you have made my day. I will not fiddle with it any more now! I will frame it :-)

Just stunning Carole. Go ahead and frame it. How big is it?

Hi thanks Diana, I have had a frame made for it now. The painting is 12 x 10" - framed it's now 18 x 16".

Absolutely gorgeous Carole.....!

This is beautiful. Thought you'd like to know your last hydrangea inspired me to try. I have just started and already I admire the patience you must have. Lovely!

Thanks Fiona. So pleased I inspire someone Christine! Good luck and I hope you post it on here.

So expressive and so skilful, Carole. I am a great admirer of your beautiful flower paintings and this one must be up there with my favourites. Super work.

Thank you Thea, for your kind words.

Well worth the wait, Carole! A fabulous final result indeed!

Thank yo so much Seok, just what I needed this morning to cheer me up!

Hi Carole, just seen your super comment on my latest pet pastel portrait of the chocolate Labrador 'Leon', really pleased that you like it so much, you can get an idea from it how scrumptiously gorgeous his eyes are in the original photo on the paintmyphoto website, and how as soon as I saw that photo I knew straight away I had to get my pastel pencils out and draw him, and I am delighted that so many people agree with you how good my work on him has been, it wasn't till i posted it on his site last night that I knew I had done a good job, that's how it is isn't it we don't get to really see our work until we post it online, then we can detach ourselves from it and see it as others do, anyway thanks again for your lovely words, they are really appreciated, bye for now xx

Hi Carole, forgive me for commenting on a 2012 portfolio, but this one of the hydrangea is very striking. By their nature, the hydrangea is very much an opinion divider, but you've captured it beautifully.
