Nasturtium

Nasturtium

I just love nastursiums.... and this is such a joyful painting. Is that a little bit of vetch that has got caught up? Lovely.

Thanks Sylvia. I see it does look like vetch, so that is what it can be. It was a dead bit of nasturtium.

Gorgeous so fresh...OK what is a little bit of vetch?

Hi Carole, I love all your paintings. It's makes it so difficult to write a discerning comment. I particularly like this one for it's simplicity and yet it is so alive, with it's bumble bee. I love your clear washes and strong chroma. Such a delight! Thanks for all your very kind comments and tireless encouragement too. Best wishes, Colleen

Lovely petal tones in the red flower. The bees was a great idea too.

Really botantical feel to this painting. I almost feel it should be in a RHS book about the nasturtium! Beautiful work.

Thank you very much ladies for your kind words, really appreciate them.

Beautiful. Your flower paintings are always sooo lovely and I love the diiferent vibrant colours of the nastursiums which you have captured so well here. I planned to paint some of mine from the garden but I came home from holiday to find all the leaves turning yellow!! I think they were probably overwatered whilst we were away. ( My son !!!)

Carole I just love your Nasturtium - expertly painted once again.

Much & little.....this is spaced out well....like all your flower paintings very well done

this is beautiful, crisp, clean, and just like a photograph, :-)

Thank you Rebecca for your kind words on my work.
