Those effects are great Fiona and the sea at the top is stunning

Like this a lot! :)

Great effects Fiona.

I like your inks and bleach Fiona, always interesting.

It has produced a lovely pattern Fiona, I like the way it has infused

This is very effective Fiona It reminds me of some encaustic wax pictures I did some years ago.

Good exercise and good result, Fiona.

How very special, a real eye-catcher, Fiona. Beautiful, original idea.

Lovely fluid effect Fiona. The way the ink has split into different shades and values is fascinating.

The bleaching works really well, interesting to view,

This is very effective, Fiona, I've never tried using bleach with Quink. It looks like fur!

Yes the more you look the more you can imagine Fiona. It draws you in.

That’s a really good effect Fiona and it looks to me like a mist on a lake in the morning. I’m going to pinch that off you. Have you tried sprinkling salt onto wet watercolour or ink and letting it dry, that gives you another nice texture too. Also one I discovered by accident was when using a soapy brush that I had cleaned it gave me a bubble effect when the paint dried.

Thanks very much everyone for your interesting ideas about what it looks like to yourself. You could play forever and come up with some really wild effects. Help yourself Justin, would like to see the results.

Very interesting Fiona, I've never tried bleach but it looks very effective.

This is fabulous, Fiona! Great effect, full of dynamism and vitality. Merry Christmas!

Thank you Margaret, wry much. Lovely to see you back Seok, thank you very much. Wishing you the best of times!

What a heavenly result. What I always wondered about when using bleach is what happens to the paper after a long time.

It must have some kind of degrading effect I would think Ibolya. These ink pieces are generally destined for the bin or the fire, so I’ve never really thought about the longevity...lol. Thanks very much for your comment, much appreciated.

Black Quink ink and bleach on watercolour paper. This is some of the fooling about bits I did, part of the exercises for textures and effects. You could see anything in this; luna landscape etc.
