Well done for giving it a go, simple subject and the approach is right, worth developing for sure.

Well done, Fiona, you've made a start - you found some perspex then? (I've tried a few more since my first attempt, and they've all been rubbish, but might have one more go. I like the colours you've used in this one.)

Thanks Alan, I will have another go, I need a little more time than I had to spend on this one I think. Many thanks Jenny, no perspex, I did this on a sheet of glass. The colours are leaf green and sky blue block/printers ink.

Now this is spectacular Fiona top notch

Top marks for trying. My attempt at print was a disaster

You could call it a very effective abstract Fiona, all power to you for giving it a go. Nice one.

The colours are lovely and I think your persistence will pay off by giving you a real beauty

where's jonny? like your experimentation Fiona excellent

Thanks very much Dennis, Glennis, Malcolm, Dermot and David. David, I managed this one without his assistance, also, I did this one on glass so it could have had an irreversible outcome....for the piece of glass anyhow!lol Thanks again.

What no tyre marks Fiona! LOL! Good effort ! (says she who has never tried doing one!)

I do like the resulting shapes, Fiona, it's a more than creditable effort. Well done!

Thanks Sarah...lol...I think tyre marks would have improved the look of it! Thank you again Seok for your positive feedback.

Keep going. Excellent colour choices and I like the shapes.

Thanks Gudrun!

A4 green and blue printers ink on (thin) yellow sugar paper. After my last dip into trying one of Alan's printing demos, this one was pretty mundane compared to the last performance. Alan suggested something simple to start with, so I took him at his word and probably over did the 'simple'.lol I still have the unfinished painting of the Arum Lilies on the easel so I just copied one of the flowers. I'll try a little harder for the next attempt Alan! Just to mention, no tractors were harmed in any way to obtain this print.
