Semi Abstract - Challenge

Fiona, this is wonderful! Full of vitality and strength. The colours are gorgeous, a really mellow feeling to it all. I must ask - what was the challenge?

More of a personal challenge really Marjorie....another site member was struggling with a bit of a block, and a challenge always gets me thinking and motivated, so challenged myself and the other member to paint something that they wouldn&#39;t normally tackle. Mine is abstracts/semi abstracts and this still falls short by a long way!<br />Thank you ever so much for commenting on it.<br /><br />Thank you Abraham, very kind of you to comment.

Fiona, all I can say is maybe you should stay out of your comfort zone, love this, it has so much energy, the sky is so clever, in fact it all is, did you work with a knife? By the way, you win the golden pallet lol. 🎨

Is it me or has it a thirties feel? I like the word melange. It desrbies it excellently. I also like the energy and the drawing in to the middle through waht could be a parting painting, if that makes sense at all!!!

Totally different and I like it a lot , a lovely dramatic sky and beautiful passages of light give the painting a very dramatic light ; the white bird against the black passage and the black birds against the light passage is a splendid touch .

Well this is different for you Fiona, very eye catching and a sure fire winner:)
