As you well know Fiona, I have been known to struggle with the Wesson direct approach style, but you have no problem… Great job here, and I particularly like your trees!

It’s a superb painting Fiona , certainly captured the Wesson style, also a lovely tribute to Michael. We are having a special week on the inspiration thread soon looking at past POL members be good if you did a intro on Michael, more personal if you can do it I think .

12”x9” watercolour on Arches. I’ve been thinking about Michael recently and his admiration for Edward Wesson, which we shared, we would often challenge each other to paint in his style. I don’t think I have done a Wesson since Michael left us for the studio in the sky.
