Terrific Fiona. Can never have too many boats. Nice work.

I love it Fiona, there's lots of great things going on in there, if the ink hasn't " sploshed out properly" you cant tell, its another great piece.

This is super, Fiona - and I like the splodges, they add contrast. It's got some lovely textures, especially in the foreground. (I've not done a monotype for ages, but have just been looking at videos of collagraphs which look like fun - next on my list of things to try!)

Great textures and colours.

Hooray the boat is back Fiona. I burst out laughing when I read the title-a bit like the blue doors. This is great.

Yet again, my comment didn't register. This was just after it "froze". And it was such a witty comment! Love the colours( I said) and it looks a bit Chinese ( I said) and perhaps you need to do a big wave in the background...I said, but it doesn't sound witty now....oh well.

I don’t know much about print making but really love this piece. I thought the ‘splodges’ were intentional and work well for me. Great aerial perspective too

It’s creative Fiona and I do so like the now recycle boat in its new overcoat.

I like the hit and miss look in this it add to it Fiona, the old boat is a great centre of interest.

You are very creative Fiona, you like challenges,I love the blue background and the busy foreground.

It looks great Fiona, you are really showing your creative side!!

In my opinion it's perfect so the splodges worked. Very good colours too. It makes me want to do some prints too but haven't the facilities right now.

Spectacular Fiona! I could put that on my wall anytime. I love it!

You have gone a bit overboard with your boats Fiona. But i do like them .

Very contemplative Fiona. So much to look at and interpret. Intellectual art piece again.

Very effective. I like the orange touches they make it stand out.

Oh Yes! Fiona another boat ! and I love it. It really caught my eye, so much going on with texture and colour, brilliant, you know what they say Fiona! when the boats come in..

Lol....I’ve been in stitches reading all your comments....sooooo, I take it you’ve had enough of the boats then. Pity, cause I’ve got a cracking boat waiting in the wings.....your loss! Lol 😂 Thank you all so much for humouring me through my daft phases, you’re the best!

This is the kind of work that keeps me interested in Art. Marvelous, Fiona.

This really looks special, almost an abstract. Well done Fiona.

The old boat's looking good :)

Lewis what a lovely and encouraging statement, thank you. Many thanks Mia I’m glad you like it. Thanks Louise, think I might be doing it to death though! Lol I haven’t finished with it yet, I’ve just this minute finished applying a thick coat of gesso on paper for the next reincarnation of the old boat.

A great piece of work Fiona. I like the textures and colours and the "splodges" look intentional and work well in the painting.

Thanks very much Val! Hope you’re well?

Good semi-abstract work, Fiona.

Many thanks Cesare!

Yet another boat... I like this one Fiona, some great marks, and the hint of yellow all gel beautifully. The boat shape is fine.

Hi Alan, yes, yet another boat and it isn’t the last! One thing I have learnt from last terms art project is....there are so many interpretations in any one subject. With that theory in mind, I’m looking at the subject and mediums to add, subtract and abstract. Thank you for looking ! X Many thanks Gudrun !

At here is great drama in this Fionna. I love it. Steve

Thank you Steve, wish I could do drama like yourself!

This looks really great Fiona, Love it !

Same size as the last one, large monotype with printers ink. I hadn’t rolled out the ink enough in some parts and it’s splodged a bit, boat could have been better shape wise.
