What a subject...and so well painted.

An interesting out of season piece Fiona, and why not! Lovely use of colour as usual.

What a beauty of a tree and painting Fiona

I just love old gnarled and weathered trees, character in abundance and a delight to draw. I had a go at a similar lime tree recently, from a photo you sent me Fiona - mine was pen and ink, your version is definitely a winner and the colour certainly adds another dimension to it!

A beautiful old tree and beautifully painted Fiona.

Just look at those gorgeous shapes......fab..

Super Study Fiona, very well painted.

Sketchbook….watercolour, oil pastel, ink and graphite. One of the old Lime trees in the park, part of a small avenue which would have been the main entrance to the old house. They have been cut back by man and nature to create great characters……wish I could do them justice!
