12”x9” watercolour on Arches. This is a copy of Wesson’s Chichester canal. When I first started painting in watercolour, Wesson was the artist I wanted to be able to paint like, still do! I’ve drifted a wee bit from that style I think, but Michael Trask mentioned that it is the 40th anniversary of his death this year…..so, a tribute to his exceptional talent.
