A lovely loose painting Fiona , love the colours. It’s awful when we move and miss where we lived , but new scenes and places will soon fill your days and you will find plenty to paint.

You have done a lovely job, Fiona! I miss places I've lived in too but as Paul says you will find lovely places where you are now and bring them to life for us!

One of those days……looking through photos missing the beauty of the place, and being so close to it all. You’re right, I have found a few beautiful spots already and all walking distance away. Who knows what I will stumble upon to tempt me…… Thank you Paul, Anne, Alan, Bryan, and David for your kind words.

Funny, I’ve been looking through photos for an image to paint at the club on Monday( workshop/demo). I came across pets….I do like this though, lovely bold putting on of colour.

Your stern talking to has worked wonderfully Fiona.

I guess I have similar trouble when painting from photos, I'm always digging in smallest detail too much, where I should focus on a broader areas instead ;) Very nice picture Fiona. These blended shapes nicely making the story up for a viewer.

Nicely simplified, limited detail, limited palette, but you’ve captured the scene. Never been there but I do love being on the coast. Maybe one day.
