It's a cracker Fiona with nice design and depth. Like the blended trees

I like the design element of this Fiona - and am very impressed with the clean lines you've achieved. I did try dendritics (once!) and got into a right mess. Might try again seeing what you've been able to do.

Well I think it's worked brilliantly Fiona, I'm very impressed with the control you've manage to achieve! I'd decided my dendritic experimenting was over, I couldn't face all that mess again, but after seeing this I want to give it another go!

Well I think it's better that the two trees merged, talking of trees, these are very well groomed, but joking apart, it has come out well Fiona, like the idea of black mount board.

Just great! No, I think the merging gives more variety Fiona.

This is just gorgeous, Fiona! I love the composition and the fabulous use of negative space, and I think the two trees merging are great at providing some variation throughout the piece. Well done!

Just simply fabulous - keep 'em coming.

That is excellent Fiona, I like the way you have managed to keep a perfect circle for the tree tops, you must have a very steady hand. I think this would look fantastic framed.

It makes quite a striking statement Fiona, not something I have tried, not sure if I will, not that I fully understand the process.

This is fantastic Fiona! How did you manage to do the circles so perfectly? The black mount board works wonders and the picture looks awesome. Well done for persevering!

Great result!

This works really well and makes a super painting, Fiona. Love the grass shapes under the trees as well - very skilfully done. P.S. I have my glass at the ready but have been doing another (and the last I think) bee one this afternoon. On to dendritic next I think!

Excellent ! So striking.

Thank you all very much for your feedback and comments, really appreciate your imput, especially on something new like this.

Great Thea, look forward to seeing your experiments!

Satu, don't spread the paint out on the glass just put it on in blobs or smear it across the glass straight from the tube, when you put the two pieces of glass together the paint spreads out. With this one I let the first lot of paint dry before adding the darker yellow and darker green. The trick is to place the second image exactly on top of the first.

hi I really like this one fantastic work xx

Thank you very much Paula!

Thank you Gudrun!

Acrylic on black mount board just a little larger than A4. Did this in two stages trying to layer the colours, I don't know whether it has made any difference than applying both colours at the same time? The trunks were put in using the edge of a piece of mount board cut to size and dipped in paint. I think it would have been a better result if the two tree's hadn't merged, it would have been much sharper, I think.
