Thank you Shaun. It does make you shiver doesn’t it, I wore gloves the whole time painting it! Louise thank you for that, you are very kind. I very nearly did a painting of a ‘GIBERD’ (I can’t say the real word) just for you, with tinsel and everything but I wanted to spend Christmas at home and not in rehab. This is a “fabulous Fiona” winterscape (is there such a word?). I love the composition, the way you have positioned your two trees against the background, and the line of dark trees/bushes beyond is superb. You’ve also emphasised that snow is not white!
