Really like this, Fiona the colours and that shine in the bowl.

Hi Fiona back home after a great summer but am I not worn out it's hard work enjoying yourself 😎

Wow Fiona this is superb and you have done a brilliant job of painting it. It’s all excellent, for me the outstanding bit is the pot it’s just do good.

Don't know how you have so much whoomfh Fiona way out of my league

All the colours make it so interesting.

Great to see the finished painting Fiona; love the brushstrokes and the colours.

Very good indeed Fiona, love the bowl and all the blended colours in the cloth.

You are getting so good Fiona, I think you have really observed this and I like the way you have painted the bowl. I always shy away from still life don’t know why as it teaches you a lot! Brilliant. Sorry I have not been on much but I am backwards and forwards to the hospital and there’s more to come? Really well painted but I do like some of your other watercolours which I will go back and leave feedback.😉❤️

Another excellent still life Fiona,

It looks great Fiona. Love the lemons and the bowl. Colours are great.

Perfection Fiona is hard to achieve but this comes pretty damn close. Well done indeed.

I just love this. I can see the Monet influence.

Lovely piece, the stainless dish is excellent.

An excellent still life with certain attributes to Monet, so you’ve done really well here Fiona.

Wow Fiona, it's beautiful, perfect.

Oooer looks like one of my lemon curd sessions. Brilliant freedom Fiona.

Love how you have painted this Fiona. It’s so textural with such lovely colours and reflections. I also love the solidity and reality of the objects. Beautiful work.

Looks brilliant Fiona, I love all the colours in it. Painted beautifully.

You are all such a generous and kind bunch…..thank you very much for your continued support and encouragement. You boost my confidence no end! Cezanne, next week!

You've captured Monet's style so well! Congratulations on a fine study.

That's lovely, Fiona and beautifully observed -especially the metal bowl!

I've stopped worrying which is a great thing mentally and love it when I am with nature Fiona 😎

Great Fiona, and that pan is amazing!

What a skilfully painted still life - is lovely Fiona.

It's a beautiful study Fiona

Wonderful combination of colours.

Really excellent Fiona

Wonderful, it has a lovely quality to it and been interesting to see it develop

Love the colours, Fiona, lovely work.

This is so good Fiona. I am still amazed at the silver bowl. Can't wait for Cezanne!!!

Lovely muted colours, Fiona.

This is fantastic, Fiona. Super composition and a beautiful colour palette. Great!

Once again, my grateful thanks to you all for your continued encouraging comments.

I think it is very good, very different from your usual which is probably the point! I love the colours and the textures.

Yes Gudrun, very different from my normal…..it’s an exercise in painting in the style of Monet. Thanks very much for your comment, appreciated.

This is stunning work Fiona, love all the colours and the way you've applied them. Its much more than an exercise, I hope its going to find its way into a frame!

Val thank you. You are always so generous with your praise. I shouldn’t think it will get anywhere near a frame, certainly not to hang at home, not my taste and far too bright for me! Lol I don’t hang my own stuff in the house, I have one monoprint I did and that’s it. Thanks again.

Very good still life, Fiona!

Excellent work Fiona! I think you have handled colour really well in this and the dabs of paint are reflective of an impressionist style. Bowl is fab....it's all fab!

Many thanks Cesare! Diane, I’m glad you think it’s fab! Lol It was an interesting exercise, enjoyed it.

16”x14” oil on paper. Art class exercise, still life in the style of Monet. Not quite but enjoyed the challenge. The light was different this week and I was in a different spot in the hall, this changed the colours of everything!
