This is so expressive, I love it Fiona.

An interesting semi-abstract piece and I like it! It all balances really well - super job F…

Lovely Fiona Love your shapes. All.works well

You’re moving away towards abstract thought, Fiona. You’re tempting me to have a go now that there’s nothing in the pipeline….Love that green/blue. Are you watching Art of America? BBC 4 Andrew Graham Dixon. I’m enjoying it. You can still catch up if you’ve missed it.

Mmmmm interesting. I do like the colours Fiona.

Wow, Fiona! Abstract art as well as your other achievements! Brilliant! Great stuff.

Lovely colours, textures and movement Fiona - fabulous.

Denise, Alan, Faye, Marjorie, Sylvia and Jennifer, thank you for your kind and positive comments. I haven’t been watching it Marjorie, I’ll have a look see if I can find it……if I can remember how to switch the tv on. Thanks for that.

Marjorie, the blue/green is R & F Cobalt Teal oil bar.

Cobalt teal - what a lovely name.

I like the strong delineation between the parts - very effective.

Sarah thank you very much, glad you like it. Michael, as always you point out something I don’t notice….I must improve my observation, I hadn’t noticed that, adds much more drama! Many thanks Andrew.

Lovely abstract expressive painting!!

This is such a lovely use of shapes and space, Fiona! Really love the geometric shapes in the foreground which anchor the painting and the spatters and washes that give the painting its energy and atmosphere.

I like this a lot, Fiona. Great colours and I love the title.

14”x12” semi abstract in mixed media…. oil, watercolour and crayon on gessoed Saunders paper. Watched these heavy rain clouds rumble across the sky, moving up the beach. I’ve attempted to indicate the slither of light in between the sky and the land for the distance, the bulk of the beach and sea area and the feel of the on coming spots of rain. Or……a chuck it on, and let’s see what happens effect!
