They are so real - more like this and your comfort zone will be well extended

Good animal facework again--I like em

I agree with Michael and Charles, lovely painting Fiona

Gorgeous...What darlings! Nothing wonky about the photo that I can see.

PS; See what you mean upon looking at the frame! It helps to crop if your photo isn't straight. I use Picasa and that has a 'straighten' facility, but it isn't always satisfactory.

"Friend" loves it!! It is already hanging in pride of place on the wall. This is actually an "in memoriam" painting as, sadly, both have gone to GP heaven! A lovely reminder.

Trouble with small furry animals is that they don't live long enough: I've painted some of mine, too.... mine were rats: I know, I know, but to know them is to love them. Great painting, because you've not overdone it - animals are a bit out of my comfort zone too, but it's good to stray beyond it now and then.

Thank you all very much, it's comforting to know I didn't do too bad with this one. Glad you like it Ann. Robert, I would love a couple of rats....but my husband won't let me! Spoil sport!

If it's a choice between hubby and rats - surely the choice is obvious. Sorry hubby, but you had your chance.....

Fiona, this is absolutely delightful! I wouldn't have thought you were out of your comfort zone - you've captured their shapes and expression beautifully.

Thank you Seok, it will take much more practice to be as competent as yourself at animals. Robert, it would be an easy choice to make except for the fact that my hubby is useful when my old land rover breaks down!!!

Out of my comfort zone with animals, but I did this for a friend. Sorry about the photo, it's a bit wonkey!
