Third and final!

I absolutely love this Fiona, the shapes and the colours and those lovely Honesty seed pods! I've been experimental today with a watercolour Agapanthus painting, it's in the bin!

Oh no, not the bin! Can't you save it....wash it out and throw some strong colour at it and make something else? The shapes the colour forms will tell you what they want to be. I didn't set out to do pansies or honesty seed pods with this, they just sort of appeared. Thank you Christine for your encouraging comment.

This is the best one - so vibrant, colourful and energetic. Penwork isn't dodgy at all. I wish I could use a pen as freely as you!

Beautiful strong colours and lively penwork. Love it, Fiona. Well done!

It's got the wow factor Fiona. lovely zingy painting . I like it.

Lovely 'free' work Fiona. Full of life and I do like the colours used.

Thea, Mia, Syd, Louise......my grateful thanks for easing me through a subject I'm not at all familiar with.

This is so lovely Fiona and I like way you have created it! Sounds simple but you need a lot of skill to achieve a great result as this one. Well done!

Hi Fiona! I have been absent for quite a time and I seem to have missed your last couple of postings. But I am glad I didn't miss this one! It's just superb. I love the strong colours, the wet into wet and the pen work. I think this is the best of the three.

Hopefully not final as this is a great painting, as Lionel says....

Thank you Satu, I wish I had your originality. Hi Lionel, I've been away from the sight myself until a few days ago. I hope you and your wife are keeping in good health, and thank you so much for your generous comment......too generous, as always! Many thanks Gudrun, last flower painting for a while, I need a break from all those BRIGHT colours.Lol!

Fiona, this is stunning! Love the hard and soft edges and the lovely varied linework. More please!

Thank you very much Seok, much appreciated.

Thank you so much for your comment on my flowers, Fiona. I know you would know very well where to start with your sweet peas :-). Only thing I do is close one eye when I am beginning, which helps me sort out the shapes, otherwise every time I look with both eyes open I just cannot distinguish anything to put down as a shape.

Watercolour, Indian ink and a little wax candle on jacksons (rough) paper. This is strong pigment dropped into wet paper then rough shapes outlined with very dodgy pen work. Last one for a whlie....promise.
