Gorgeous colours - delightful!

How utterly natural and earthly Fiona. This has the fluidity and light in abundance and I love it.

Very impressionistic, like it.

You are so good at these loose style paintings Fiona , always a delight to see them.

So colourful, love it!

Lovely close-up quickie!

Beautiful colour Fiona, semi abstract effect.

Unusual Fiona. Very good.

Lovely painting.

It maybe a quick watercolour sketch with a limited palette Fiona but it really packs a punch! Love it!

Anne, Carole, Maureen, Paul, Lynda, Heather, John, Denise, Stephen, Christine…….thank you all very much for your kind comments.

How lovely and a great title !

Beautifully painted Fiona.

What a beauty Fiona, looks like you’ve just let the painting do it’s own thing with a light pull on the reins in places.

Beautiful blues! At first glance I saw a cottage in the woods but thankfully now I see your lovely snowdrops. They have been terrific this year here as well. Another beauty Fiona.

Very loose, almost abstract, definitely a winner.

Very impressive Fiona, this style is what I like about watercolour…

Beautiful painting. I love the looseness and colour palette.

A lovely lively rendition of these brave little flowers Fiona.

Many thanks for all your lovely comments……Valerie’s, Russell, Sandra, Frank, Tessa, Tony, Alan, Fiona, Carole…..very much appreciated.

This is eye-catching, Fiona, such a beautiful painting. Love the colours and use of negative painting.

Beautifully painted Fiona, sparkling colours and excellent composition.

A bit different for you Fiona. It really stands out on the gallery page, love it.

Jenny, George, Val……thank you very much!

Loose, great use of colour, what's not to like Fiona!

Thank you Trevor!

This watercolor is beautiful. I like its abstract quality and the surprise of the snowdrops because that's what they always are. You've managed the fallen leaves artfully.

Many thanks for your kind comment Lynne.

A dramatic semi abstract with effective use of complementary blue and orange mixes.

Thank you David. It was perfect to use an abstract style after the first washes, I could make out the shapes and areas where it may work…..made it easy really.

I really like this style of painting Fiona and this is a great result- I love it.
