We've had no more than a puff of snow on the Isle of Wight, either. Quite frustrating; not that I'd want it to linger, but a day or two wouldn't hurt... Perhaps your painting will act as a rain-dance, er, snow-dance, and bring it on.

Great view with such strong brushstrokes, which sum up this winter scene beautifully. Love the impasto effects.

Latest weather report.....still no snow, and none forecast. I would be content with a few flakes, after all, it’s Scotland! I agree Robert, just a a light covering for a few days would be lovely. Thank you all very much for your comments and I hope if you’ve had too much of the white stuff, it hasn’t inconvenienced you too much.
