Beautiful landscape and lightness of touch, I guess your minimal strokes have created such maximum impact, love it!

Liking it Fiona. Got an autumn feel about the palette.

Great effect with minimal colours

Excellent work Fiona, loving the colours.

Love this Fiona, your minimalist style is very appealing.

Bleakly beautiful Fiona - I like this a lot.

Lovely loose limited palette Fiona, the dry brushwork in the foreground really works well

This is lovely Fiona I like it a lot.

Nandhini, Jim, Michael, Hilary, Paul, Katy, Margaret, David and Barry many thanks for your encouraging comments. Not too many colours used in this, u. Marine, b. Umber, r. Sienna, and b. Sienna. Yes the trees are just starting to turn, some more than others but subtlety. Thanks again everyone.

They said it all, Fiona. I just love it!

Delightful little study Fiona, my favourite colours!

Delightful autumnal wet day colours and view Fiona. I really like this.

It has all been said Tessa. You have achieved an admirable, watery feel to this.

Just beautiful, Fiona! Wish it would rain here. Humidity 100% yet again today!

Mia, Diane, Alan, Tessa Thalia, Carole and Gudrun.....many thanks for your lovely feedback.

I just love that title Fiona! And the painting! Soggy days ahead I think.

Lovely work, Fiona.

Marjorie thank you. Yes, there may be many more on this subject, even before the end of the year! Many thanks Cesare, appreciate your comment.

A really nice watercolour Fiona, love the minimal use of the medium in which you have created using a minimal pallet, in a very pleasing piece . Like it a lot .

16” x 12” watercolour on Waterford paper. I expect this reflects most of the uk this weekend, lots of soggy hedgerows! This hedgerow runs along the Glenturk moor lane, it also has lots of weathered Ash trees almost choked to death by Ivy.....great natural sculptures.
