Excellent work Paul.

Some good touches in this piece Paul.

Very effective!

Thank you for the kind comments Stephen, John and Andrew I wanted it to have an antique look as the brown ink lends itself to a the old styles of drawing and give an aged look I think.

Never heard of caramel ink before, bet that smells lovely. Lovely subject, feels like it's looking right at you.

Thanks Russell and Hazel I appreciate your comments . Unfortunately it’s only caramel coloured, smells like any other ink however it looks great and produces a varied range with a little water added.

I like your owl Paul.

Like this very much !

A great line and wash!

Lovely work Paul. As you know, I’m an ink fan and I wonder whether you have discovered the magic of Faber Castell and Staedtler brush pens - I think you’d enjoy them.

Nice work Paul. Such interesting birds.

A really good owl Paul, I think the medium suits you

Thank you all for your very kind comments. I have tried the brush pen’s Marilyn not for me I’m afraid but some good work done with them by artists such as yourself.

Yes, it does create an antique look. It's rather lovely Paul.

Thank you Linda for you much appreciated comment.

That's a cracking little owl Paul.

Lovely work, Paul.

A beautiful, striking owl, and the limited palette works very well.

Thank you Val , Jenny and Hilary for your kind comments.
