That is very good, Paul!!

Another lovely horse… bossy isn’t he ?

Thank you David and Sylvia for your kind comments. I think it’s a female Sylvia hence the bossiness, ( now I’ve started something).😊.

Love the effect of the stippling Paul. He really does look hungry.

Thank you Carole you comment is appreciated.

Paul that's brilliant. Did it take long? Great dotting. 👍

Thanks Faye , it took about twenty minutes or so. Sounds odd but once you get a rhythm it seems to just happen.

Good one, Dixie.

Having dabbled in still long twice recently, this is extremely good. As you said once you get going it just seems "flow".

My attempt at stippling, something I have nit tried before. I decided to use a familiar subject for my first attempt. Did not have a clue as to a title until I noticed I had not put the grass in the sketch , poor Dobbin would be hungry and probably thought, I look a part with my head down like this.

I have sketched most of my life on and off I became interested in watercolour following a spinal injury whilst in hospital but did not follow it up. My eldest daughter bought me a beautiful wooden box set of half pans about twenty five years ago I dabbled on and off until retirement twelve years…
