Looks like have been influenced by Alan’s art Paul. Interesting group of buildings.

Very well done!! Can definitely see the influence of Alan!!

It's looking really good Paul

I will acknowledge that there is a Bickley influence, if you’re going to study and try why not be influenced by a master of his art ( a cheque will be ok Alan ) . I do share Alan’s love of old buildings and boats , we do share some photographs of scenes we come across for our reference library’s .

Another good one Paul. The toned paper works well.

This is excellent Paul.

Great use of the mediums and I did immediately recognise Alan’s influence. Love the huddled buildings Paul and the almost vignette approach.

I like this very much, it has a charm about it !

Pen, ink, pastel and some white acrylic paint, an imaginary scene sketched on grey toned paper , (a usual tip from Alan ) as it sets up the small amount of colour. These sketches don’t take long and are quite relaxing but stimulating at the same time , I find that now I’ve started doing them regularly ideas come a lot easier.
