Another good one, Paul!

Looks like you nailed the use of tonal paper.

That has to go in a larger picture Paul. A lovely little study.

A good one Paul. And I agree with Marjorie, it’s worth developing into a larger picture.

David ,Tony , Marjorie and Lew thank you for your kind comments. I will think about a larger one, would need more detailing I think .

Very effective Paul.

The colour combination works really well.

I really like the condensed composition.

A lovely study - very nice textures on the building!

Very good Paul.

Brilliant Paul a really wonderful sketch and looks like your enjoying this process. A thumbs up from me!👍🙏👌

Thank you all for your very kind comments. I have bought an A5 display folder just for these sketch’s , best way to stop the pastel rubbing on , also quite similar to the way the Victorians stored there sketches, but not in plastic wallets I hasten to add.

Excellent Paul!

Fabulous little drawing Paul

I like this pen and pastel study very much.

The mediums work so beautifully together Michael. Love the colours and the interesting result.

Really like these pictures Paul. They certainly suit your style. I store Pastel pictures with a sheet of glassine paper- it protects it really well.

Love the use of a coloured background. Makes the building stand out sobwell

Thank you all for your most kind comments .

A5 pen and pastel sketch , continuing my practice and learning how to use the pen and pastel together. I really enjoyed the process and find that I do like the two mediums working together, do these in the evening as it doesn’t a lot of space and is very relaxing, usually around fifteen minutes.
