What a lovely old working vehicle, obviously right up your street. Lovely job.

Than you Lew , your correct in saying it up my street as you know I love these old vehicles.

I agree with Lewis, lovely job. Don't fiddle! It's great piece as is. I also have a few half finished paintings. And don't want to fiddle.. hopefully the tide will come in with great force. Lol.

Well done you for even persisting painting. I've got a couple of half finished canvases I just can't get my head around. anyway, another good watercolour Paul

Having seeing your progress on this painting on the forum, its great to see the finished work; super!

Lovely work Paul 🙂

Lesley, Heather and Karen thank you for your kind comments. I’m always surprised how many artist have unfinished work you tend to think your the only one . Karen it nice to know that you looked at the painting as it developed , I do enjoy doing WIP on the forum especially when I get feedback.

Thank you Faye I think I was typing when you commented as always your comment is much appreciated.

Lovely work Paul, looks so rusty.

Many thanks Spencer for you kind comment.

Super painting, Paul! I always enjoy seeing these old vehicles you paint and this has such character!

Thank you Anne I’m pleased you enjoy them , it’s particularly nice when you do a favourite subject and others enjoy the painting .

I've been following on the forum and you have made a lovely job of it Paul. Great rust effects.

Nice rusty colours on this old abandoned vehicle Paul.

24x32 cm watercolour painting of a abandoned oil storage area and truck . I called it abandoned due to the scene and the fact that I abandoned the painting half way through having lost enthusiasm. Like a lot of fellow artists I’m suffering with the heat and unfortunately I insist on keep trying to paint . I have serval half finished painting at the moment come a cool day I will have a blitz , well that’s the plan . I’m not really happy with this but the risk of fiddling is too much so it’s done .

I have sketched most of my life on and off I became interested in watercolour following a spinal injury whilst in hospital but did not follow it up. My eldest daughter bought me a beautiful wooden box set of half pans about twenty five years ago I dabbled on and off until retirement twelve years…
