It’s still as fantastic as ever Paul.

The colouring is so in tune with the landscape and building Paul.

Wonderful Paul.

It is looking better - and goes to show that you CAN alter a watercolour, even if you have to be fairly proficient to get away with it. One painter of whom I knew would plunge his painting into a bath, and hang it up to dry - it worked, more often than not, when it had dried and he came back to it.

Carole, John , Denise and Robert thank you for you much appreciated comments. Thats quite drastic Robert , I have put a painting under a running tap , I needs to be quality paper or it just falls apart. The one I washed was on Archers and commission painting , my customer had bought the top quality paper as it was for a friend, half way through the painting I spilled dark blue over it , hence the drastic action.

A very good painting! I like the original as well!!

Your title made me smile and a good painting adjustment to Paul

Paul, I love the green glow of this painting, very good piece. You were lucky to scrub blue from your previous watercolour; I used WN Intense blue and it seems to permanently stain the paper.

This is really lovely, I especially love the old building!

Nice one. The overall lighting reminds me of that before a thunderstorm for some reason.

Still good Paul.

Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments , I appreciate them . It has taken on a bit of a troubled sky look David , unintentional probably due to my rubbing out the original sky it’s taken up a bit of the green that could not totally remove.

Well done Paul. I liked original, but I think this is an improvement. I watched your progress on the forum. A great result.

Thanks Lew for your much appreciated comment.

Not an easy decision to make when working in watercolour I imagine, but a great result Paul

This has turned out well, Paul, especially that old building.

Thank you Russell and Jenny I appreciate your comments.

You were very brave to alter the tree, Paul and it's looking great!

Thanks Anne , don’t know about brave definitely mad , but he who dares wins as they say.

You’ve met the challenge Paul and I think it’s successful. The tree is lighter in the canopy and natural looking.

Lovely soft greens and just the right amount of tree.

And love the title too.
