Very good oasts Paul

Goodness Heather you must have been hovering around waiting to post a comment. Thank you .

Lovely Paul.

Thanks Denise , I appreciate your comment.

Nicely done Paul.

Great work Dixie 👏🏼👏🏼

Not many of them about now Paul. Good colouring on the buildings.

The old buildings are so well complemented by the lovely bright and fresh countryside - good work, Paul!

Super painting Paul!

Thank you all for your very kind comments, I really do appreciate them. Sadly they are a thing of the past , then I’m reaching that age where most thing are in the past and not just a couple of years . I love these scenes , probably because they are nostalgic and remind me of thing I have and cherish.

Love the brick work on the oasts Paul. The painting is so identifiably from Kent.

I love these old buildings Dixie and this is a super painting- such great shapes.

Well composed and very well painted Paul.

This is so interesting, with so many shapes. And I like the colour arrangement too, with nature complimenting the human-made.

Thank you for your kind comments folks , I appreciate them . I had to work on this one as it was so hot the paint was drying on the brush, not helped by a troublesome hand, still I enjoyed doing it and that’s what it’s all about in the end despite the journey.

You're paintings always have a homely feel to me, lovely work !

Great shapes and colours for an iconic scene

Thank you Valerie and Martin for your very nice comments , never thought of them being homely Valerie but this one does look quite snug in the setting.

Lovely painting of the oasts, Paul.

Oast houses, lovely painting

Nicely done Paul

A4 watercolour imaginary scene for the May challenge, used Kent’s as I have been looking at a lot of Rowland Hilder paintings and sketch’s . Just love his work but would not attempt to his style , leave that to the expert and a couple of folk on POL .
