A stark reminder that the cold is coming. Super tree Paul.

Beautifully painted! Love the touch of green in the painting!

Wonderful work Paul. It would make a great Christmas Card.

Very fine Dixie, love the composition.

Brrrr! A lovely painting of the tree Paul; I like the winter trees at the bottom of the hill too.

Love the composition with the strong foreground leading to a subtle middle distance & then distance. Also like the way youv'e painted the snow on the tree.

Very good tree Paul.

Thank you Jenny and Heather for you kind comment.

Makes you wonder what this grand old tree has seen looking out over the countryside over many years. Very nice Paul.

Really good, Paul - lovely tree set in a very chilly landscape!

Thank you Alan and Anne for you comments they are appreciated. I do wonder what old trees etc have seen over the century’s for some of them, be great if we could find out .

Wonderful tree Paul.

Your painting describes the weather atmospherics perfectly, and your old tree is fabulous.

Thank you a Fiona for you kind comment.

The snow almost works as negative space on the tree Paul, love the way you’ve handled it. Beautiful as always!

These canvas sheets are really working for you Paul, another rather special tree.

The canvas feels really good to work on I haven’t quite worked out why . the paint move differently and pools differently due tho the texture . I really wasn’t sure if it would work but happily I’m wrong the task now is to try something other than trees. Thanks for you comment Val I appreciate it .

This is wonderful Paul, very wintry looking, yes winter is coming

Cheryl thank you for your comments
