It's lovely Paul - very hot here too.

Lovely misty woodland feel to it Paul. Hot here too- I’ve got my pastels out inside, cooler inside.

Thank you Heather and Christine, it’s far cooler in the house with the fan on to keep the air moving about. Good idea to use the pastels in this heat , I must get organised and do some sketches while it hot .

Lovely Paul. I'm hoping to do something later when it cools down.

Thanks Denise , I’m looking forward to seeing it keep cool and safe.

A nice piece, Paul. Love the rays of light!

Cool technique Paul, with a very nice result!

It's good to get something done, and this is good.

A lovely painting Paul- yes- it’s a bit warm here in Suffolk as well!

Definitely a dense woodland with light shining through. A super painting Paul!

Thank you David, Stephen, Anth, Lew , Rachel and Spencer for you very kind comments. I happy if I get anything done at the moment Lew, as you know the watercolours are drying on the brush between pallet and paper.

A lovely woodland scene Paul.

Thank you Carole and Valerie for you comments.

Another lovely painting - well done in the heat, Paul!

Lovely woodland scene Paul. Particularly like the rays of light.

Thank you Gillian for you kind comment I really appreciate it. I used to love seeing the light rays through the trees when I was working in the woodlands, so beautiful with so many different colours and density.

A lovely woodland scene. It works a treat.

Thank you for your comment David.

Just the ticket for this weather, dappled shade in the woodland….smashing. I thought of you today as I was sailing down the Clyde on the Waverley. The last sea going steam boat…..it was fabulous Paul!

Thanks for the comment Fiona sound like a great trip on the fold boat.

Just catching up, love this Paul, really caught my eye x

Thank Katy , hope all’s well with you.

23x32 cm watercolour painting, imaginary scenes . Wet the paper with a atomiser dropped the paint on let it flow, added a few brush strokes as it dried which was very quick 15 mins . I usually do something like this when I can’t think what to paint, plus it’s good to do some loose work occasionally, today it was because it’s to hot to do my normal watercolour work . Hope your all keeping cool and safe.
