Out of the shade .

Good depth and sunlight on the field and the trees are excellent.

It certainly makes me want to go through that gate, Paul. Good recession there.

Wonderful painting Paul. Lovely variety of blends of green. It certainly draws you through the gate into the sunshine.

You’ve captured your description spot on Paul, an overwhelming feeling of sunshine.

A very inviting view through the gate, Paul - a lovely painting!

Very appealing image Paul, would love to walk there.

A well painted picture Paul. I like how the eye is drawn in through the gate to the middle distance and then on to the far distance. I also like a little bit of mystery in a picture something that Degas used in some of his work. What lies beyond those hills is it the sea, a city a country village?.. Only the artist knows the answer to that...

Thank you all for your very kind comments they are appreciated a lot . While we all paint for pleasure and don’t think of what others may think of our work, to have such positive comments is so nice .

Fine work, Dixie.
