Another superb boat painting Paul. Such great detail!

Wow lovely painting Paul. Lovely boat and sky and can't see anything wrong

Super Paul and it looks just fine.

Very very good Paul, well painted boat with the addition of the fishing paraphernalia scattered around. Impressive.

Stephen, David, Spencer, Faye , Denise and Richard thank you for your kind comments, they are really appreciated.

Lots of atmosphere well done

What a lovely old craft and you have done it justice with this fine watercolour.

Many thanks for thanking the time to look and comment Moira and Stephen much appreciated.

I love this Paul. You've captured the essence of boats for me - great shape and the prospect of adventure

Elaine thank you for your lovely comment.

So good at painting boats Paul!

The boat is so well painted Paul and looks as if it’s dying to get into the sea.

Thank you Chris, Christine and Carole for kind comments . My eldest daughter once told me I was loosing the plot when I said look at that poor old boat , it’s so missing the sea. I think we do attribute human feeling to many things.

Super painting, Paul - the boat has real character!

I like the way you have composed this Paul and you have painted it very well.

A lovely, evocative painting Paul (Dixie). As soon as I saw it I recognised the registration number as I have been to Hastings several times. I particularly like the detail work. Well painted.

Excellent Dixie.

This is beautifully depicted - you’ve caught the old boats character

Your boats are so nicely drawn and painted, nice one Paul.

Poor old boat! It does have character and a sense of history Dixie, excellent work.

I think you've done this old boat justice Paul

Thank you for your kind and much appreciated comments, Sarah, Mark, Lew, Rachel , Judith , Tessa, and Heather. All the comments made are very encouraging, I tend to get oh your not paint another bl+ + xy boat , it’s a bit of a passion , given my time over again I would have attempted becoming a maritime artist.

Another excellent painting Paul

Thank you Paul and George for taking the time to look and comment.

As always, you capture the sense of age, decay and abandonment Paul.

Thanks Fiona , sound like your describing me .

I like the way you have painted the boat. Very nice details in it.

Thank you for your kind comment David , I had to redo the front of the hull as I did my usual thing and over worked it.

So beautifully done

Amazing. You are so good at painting boats.

23x32 watercolour of a old boat (old abandoned boat ) on Hastings beach . Lots of theses old boats around the world, finished there working life and left to decay . I had to wash off the bows and restart, my usual mistake of overwork the area , hopefully I’ve recovered it reasonably well.
