Berries and hips

Very nice Paul

So pretty, Paul, love it!

Excellent job Paul, love it.

I think you have done a really good job Paul. I also sometimes can't help fiddling with my work.

Many thanks Heather, Thalia, Denise, and Chris for your kind comments.

Beautiful colours, Paul - lovely painting.

Gorgeous watercolour Paul, rich and fruity.

Thank you Anne and Fiona for your kind comments.

Good one Paul, I think you’ve achieved the translucency well, it makes a lovely picture. I know that feeling of over fiddling so well, sometimes only we can see it!

Love the colours, and I think the hips do look heavy and the berries translucent.

Many thanks , Carole , Katy and Anne for you kind comments they are appreciated. I just wish I had not messed with the centre leaf for me it looks so wrong .

Thank you Beatrice for you comment.

This is excellent Paul.

Hang on Studio Wall

A5 watercolour, used photos taken last autumn and selected parts to build up the painting . I was hoping to achieve the translucency of the berries and the heavy look of the hips. I’m a bit disappointed with the outcome particularly the centre leaf, on a whim I added to much green , removed it and now it a bit overworked . My bad habit , just giving into the urge to just touch or dabble a bit more .
